Hi, I’m Beth.
Iridology has been at the heart of my work as an educator for many years. I love teaching students to look beyond memorized charts and lists, understand what they’re seeing, and discover the why behind the patterns and principles they’re learning.
But learning has never stayed neatly inside the classroom for me.
I’m an herbalist who still loves getting my hands into herbs. I make sourdough bread, experiment in the kitchen, dig into subjects simply because I want to understand them, and share some of what I’m learning and living through my videos, podcast, and writing.
That curiosity shapes the way I teach. Whether I’m teaching professional iridology, sharing natural health education, or exploring something useful for everyday life, I want learning to be clear, practical, interesting, and connected to the real world.
So yes, you’ll find serious professional education here. You’ll also find a real person who still loves learning.
This work is rooted in
real practice.
For more than 24 years, I’ve worked in natural health education, teaching iridology, herbology, and practical approaches to natural health.
My teaching has taken place in classrooms, online programs, workshops, conferences, herb gardens, and around tables with students who want to understand not only what they are learning, but why.
That experience shapes the way I teach today: clear instruction, practical application, and education designed to help students understand what they’re seeing and know how to use what they’ve learned.
Iridology
Comprehensive Iridology provides a holistic lens for understanding the body and its unique needs, including constitutional strengths and weaknesses.
Through Beth Hovis Education, students can explore iridology from introductory study through all three levels of Comprehensive Iridology. Whether pursuing personal enrichment or professional development, students are guided through a structured learning process that emphasizes disciplined observation, sound interpretation, and practical application.
This approach helps students build knowledge with confidence, clarity, and integrity while deepening their understanding of the body's patterns and potential.

Beth Hovis
Beth draws on decades of experience as a business owner, natural health educator, consultant, and lifelong learner to help people grow in knowledge, confidence, and purpose. Through education, conversation, and shared experience, she encourages others to build healthier lives, stronger relationships, and meaningful connections.
Her journey into natural health began more than 30 years ago, during the pregnancy of her third child, when curiosity about a natural approach sparked a lifelong passion. From baking homemade bread to studying herbs and aromatherapy, Beth embraced “living naturally” long before it was a trend.
For over 24 years, she has worked in the natural health field, and her greatest joy is helping others discover their true identity and design so they can step fully into their purpose and, in turn, help others. Known as a “Gatherer of Information,” she loves teaching and sharing, always making learning engaging and enjoyable.
